Windy City

We got back from Chicago today. I know I didn't even tell you that I left, but it's not like anybody reads this thing anyway. We went out to visit Amanda and her boyfriend at their new house. I haven't actually been out there since they moved out there in May/June of 2000 (jesus, has it been that long?), but it sounds much better to say "We went out to see their new house." than "I neglect my friends horribly."

Anyway. We had a really good time. Went downtown and hung out and I took a bunch of pictures, the best of which I posted here. Go check them out. You won't be disappointed. I swear.

I don't have much else to say. We hit some nasty snow on the way back, but that was the only bad weather we really encountered. It's really expensive to park downtown. And everything is really expensive. And I have again come to know that I could never handle living in a big city. My small town sensibilities are violated at every turn.

And that's it. For real.
