On 8/8/88, my Dad swore off
Pepsi -
I think he felt he needed to do something
MONUMENTAL on an alliterative number
day.
I think he wanted to tell people.
I think he needed something to
talk about.
Or maybe he just thought he drank too much
Pepsi.
But me, I was only 8.
8 on 8/8/88.
So all I knew was that he liked to drink Pepsi, and that I
wasn't allowed to
have any.
